Center for Management Research (CMR) collaborates with universities, consulting and research firms, and corporations in the development, marketing and implementation of conferences, seminars, executive publications, and other corporate executive education and professional development activities.
CMR's current client-partners include The Sloan School of Management and The Industrial Liaison Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and The Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School (an inter-university consortium of Harvard University, MIT, Tufts University and other Boston area academic institutions).CMR also markets and delivers (under its own sponsorship) the highly-rated six-part curriculum " Programs on Leadership for Senior Executives" .
Since its founding in 1977, CMR has had lengthy and successful assignments with The John F. Kennedy School of Government (Harvard University), The Hay Group, International Data Corporation, SRI International, McGraw Hill Publishing, Boston University, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Digital Equipment Corporation and The Laboratory for Computer Graphics at Harvard University.
The Company's
main focus is the business market with emphasis on reaching corporate senior
management. Direct mail is the prime media employed to reach and penetrate this
market. Internet technologies and methods are also employed in marketing and
customer service. CMR generally "joint ventures" with its client-partners
and provides a full range of services, including counsel on strategic and market
positioning issues, program development, creation, production and implementation
of all marketing and promotional materials, and a wide range of administrative,
financial, registration and on-site support activities.
